Walkman: it’s back and better than ever: video, in-store

There was a time when having a Walkman meant that you were cool – unfortunately that time is nowhere close to now. That being said, many still have very fond memories of the not-so-little yellow cassette player, and Hipsters love it for its retro-cool vibe. Rather than try and shed our past and hop on the latest trend, we wanted to leverage our heritage and the nostalgia that came with it. 

We had a little fun with this one. To promote the new Walkman – that played videos, games and of course music, we imagined what it would have been like if the original Walkman could do all of these things. If nothing else, it would allow us to build a hilarious prop (that I keep in my office).
